Our All-Terrain Mobile Flashbutt Welding Machine uses the latest technological advances, Future Rail can supply our clients with all the required equipment and personnel to undertake the works providing a total commitment to the project from start to finish. The welding head on our machine is a K922 with pulse flashing technology, which consumes approximatly 27mm of rail in the production of the welds, the head has universal electrodes with inserts for various rail types. Our welding head also contains the ability to perform stressing up to a max on 120mm during the welding process.

The computerised welding system reduces human error and because the mobile welder works so quickly and efficiently (between 90 and 270 seconds per weld) it saves our clients valuable time, making the most of a possession window. The weld monitoring system is a real time, high resolution graphic's system, designed to record and analyze the welds we produce as they are formed.

The All-Terrain Mobile Flashbutt Welding Machine is a highly mobile machine with lift and slew locks which is approved to work under live overhead lines, next to running lines and only requires 5-6 meters to on and off track. The machine is delivered to site on a low loader trailer. Our machine is entirely self propellant and does not require any trailers or attachments, the welding head is fixed to the machine. The total weight of the machine including the welding head is just 28.4 tonne.
